Winter Trees
I love trees—especially in winter, when they reveal their branches and twigs and stand silhouetted against the sky. At times, they appear like dancers. Sometimes they seem to stretch their fingers towards the sky, and at other times they resemble someone having a bad hair day. They possess a majesty and delicacy—almost a fragility—all at once. In summer, this is concealed by their leaves, but in winter, they unveil their full beauty.
