A three-day escape to the sea
At the end of January we became really fed up from dark and grey days and decided to spend a couple of days at the coast. Quite some years ago we discovered a cosy hotel at the coast of the Baltic Sea near Kiel which promotes itself as a “late riser hotel”. We have been there a couple of times since and always enjoyed the lovely rooms, the good breakfast and food throughout the day which will be served in beach chair chairs with view on the sea—if weather permits.
We spent our days with long walks along the coast and the visit of a bird sanctuary close to the sea. Below you will find some of the photos I took on these days.
